English Proficiency Indicators

English Proficiency Requirements for NCKU School of Pharmacy

The pharmacy curriculum requires proof of English language proficiency at the CEFR B2 level or higher. Accepted forms of certification include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) - High Intermediate level or above.
2. TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language, Internet-Based Test) - Minimum score of 87.
3. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) - Minimum overall band score of 5.5.
4. TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) - Minimum score of 785.
5. Cambridge English Qualifications - First Certificate in English (FCE).
6. BULATS (Business Language Testing Service) - Minimum score of 60.
7. Other equivalent English proficiency certifications, subject to approval.
